Expanding Resources

The NAEYC website is the site that I chose to invest my time learning about. It provides resources that I consider beneficial to my educational career. At one point I was living in Washington DC which is the central headquarters. I was able to take a tour of their facility and ask additional questions about what they do. I have reached out to the coordinator of the website to gather some more information about early childhood resources and informed them about th class I’m taking. I’m excited to hear back from them in the near future.
After breezing through the NAEYC website I found valuable resources such as webinars, blogs, and even articles dedicated to early childhood. NAEYC also has an annual conference that helps educators enhance their educational learning with various speakers/presenters hosting each year. I’m excited to read more about issues and trends in the early childhood field based on their point of view.

  3. Jazmine,

I'm amazed at the close connections you have made to such respected organization in the early childhood field. In previous courses, so much of what we explored came from the NAEYC authority on early childhood. How wonderful it is to know that you were able to tour the NAEYC headquarter witness their daily work for the benefit of children.

  5. Jazmine,
The NAEYC website is incredibly helpful to me, I use that and a few others (CSEFEL and Conscious Discipline) to assist me with most of my early childhood education informational needs. That is so exciting that you were able to visit their headquarters and ask questions!
